It was a brilliant day bringing the PowerHouseGames to Oxford for the first time for a festival of inclusive sport.

The event was one of a number of projects being delivered by the Sport to Impact Lab using sport to advance the Sustainable Development Goals at the Lab

The morning brought 30 students from Greyfriars Catholic School with students from the John Watson School, which is a specialist provision for children with Special Educational Needs, alongside 20 university students, All participants were mixed into teams to compete against one another in a number of inclusive friendly sports.

There can’t be many occasions when you have former NFL players, Olympians, Paralympians and Blues athletes all coming together to try something new.

Thanks Power2Inspire for being such an inspiration and partner in delivering this event, the first hopefully of many more to come.
