Why work with us?

The Oxford SDG Impact Lab partners with organisations across sectors to co-create research that supports practical progress towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We work with charities, businesses, local authorities, and international networks to develop evidence-based solutions to complex social, economic, and environmental challenges.

Our Lab Fellows are exceptional graduate students from the University of Oxford, selected for their academic rigour, leadership potential, and commitment to impact. They bring an interdisciplinary skillset spanning policy, business, social sciences, health, environment, and beyond. Through immersive projects, our Lab Fellows provide organisations with independent research capacity and an outside-in perspective that supports innovation, evaluation, and strategic development.

Our programmes enable partners to:

  • Collaborate with a new generation of socially engaged researchers and leaders
  • Access targeted, high-quality research rooted in sustainable development
  • Translate insight into strategies that drive meaningful organisational change

We have worked with local and regional authorities, global businesses, foundations, and community-led organisations to co-design research that delivers both local relevance and global significance.
